Description
The Patton SN4324 VoIP Gateway provides 12 to 32 analog FXS or FXO interfaces for connecting phones, faxes, or PSTN lines to your IP-based communication system (IP PBX, UC systems, and SIP Trunks). The SN4300, like any SmartNode TM, supports every CODEC that meets industry standards in order to provide a high-quality voice for every call. The Unified Communications Agent TM (UCA) provides any-to-any multi-path switching (concurrent SIP, H.323, ISDN, and POTS calls with routing and conversion between TDM / PSTN and IP / Ethernet networks, as well as T.38 and SuperG3 FAX). VoIP-over-VPN with voice encryption ensures secure voice and data transmission over IPsec using AES/DES strong encryption and automated keying via Internet Key Exchange (IKE). Furthermore, the advanced call routing functionality provides the least amount of call routing while still allowing for a flexible number plan. In the event that the IP network fails, the SmartNode suite for survival provides a PSTN fallback to ensure business continuity. Furthermore, SmartNode provides a smooth transition to VoIP with strong number portability support that accepts incoming calls from the PSTN during the VoIP service provider’s number transfer process.
