The Sangoma Vega 200G VoIP Digital Gateway is a dual-port T1/E1/PRI appliance that can handle up to 60 concurrent conversations. This device can’t handle more than 60 simultaneous calls. Vega VoIP digital gateways are compact equipment that connect your traditional telephony infrastructure to IP networks using PRI (T1/E1) or BRI connections. The Sangoma Vega 200G VoIP Digital Gateway ensures the operation of your branch offices in the event of a power or Internet outage. Vega gateways divert calls to failover dial plans and PSTN lines automatically. Vega200G VoIP Digital Gateway from Sangoma Over private VoIP networks, connect legacy phone systems to remote sites. They’re ideal for companies who have legacy phone systems (such as TDM phone systems) and want to connect to SIP trunking services without having to change their network infrastructure. They’re also ideal for companies that are VoIP-enabled at the core (with an IP PBX) but require PSTN access and a SIP-to-TDM converter. Place the Vega VoIP digital gateway at the network’s edge, plug in your existing internet cable for VoIP connectivity as well as E1/T1 or BRI cables from your phone system, and let the Vega VoIP digital gateway handle SIP signalling and voice media conversion for seamless voice and T.38 Fax integration.The Vega 200G is the most resilient gateway in its class thanks to the Sangoma Resiliency Enablement Suite (SRES). IP phones behind the Vega gateway can continue to call each other, be routed to a backup switch, or be linked directly to the PSTN in the case of a WAN failure.
