Description
The SmartLink Micro Analog Telephone Adapter connects analog phones to a home network, home office network, or corporate LAN. The SmartLink product, which connects to any analog phone or PBX, is a cost-effective solution for small offices and telecommuters to access Internet-based telephone services and corporate intranet systems via established LAN and Internet connections such as xDSL and cable modems. One RJ-45 Ethernet port and one FXS (RJ-11) analog phone port are provided by the SmartLink M-ATA. Side panel LEDs display the status of the system, WAN, and phone ports at a glance. The M ATA supports a full set of IP features (DHCP and NAT/PAT) for easy interconnection to VoIP services and IP transport networks. Voice traffic can be handled before data traffic by other network devices thanks to VLAN tagging and prioritization.
