To provide a clear indication of speaker status, illuminated mute and speakerphone keys are provided. A pixel-based display with a white backlight makes it easy to see calling information, and Extensible Markup Language (XML) services provide a rich user experience. The Cisco Unified IP Phone 7931G comes with a slew of important security features, as well as the option of IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) or local power via a power adapter.
