Sangoma’s NetBorder SS7 VoIP Gateway is a high-density SS7 to VoIP (or SIP) solution that allows next-generation VoIP and legacy SS7 networks to communicate seamlessly. NetBorder SS7 VoIP Gateways integrate classic SS7 edge, core, and peer zones with new-generation, MEGACO, and SIP networks, as well as transcoding capabilities, by supporting simultaneous use of ISDN, SS7 CAS (R2), SIP, and SIGTRAN signaling protocols. The NetBorder SS7 VoIP Gateway (NSG) from Sangoma is a feature-rich, cost-effective solution that enables telecom service providers to integrate VoIP into their networks while also providing complete transcoding capabilities. In a compact all-in-one design, the solution offers up to 64 E1/T1 ports per appliance for a total of 1,920 channels, reducing the footprint and the requirement to acquire components from numerous manufacturers. The NetBorder SS7 VoIP Gateway is ideal for linking tier 2/3 service providers to larger incumbents, providing Value Added Services (VAS), and expanding PRI services beyond 7 to 8 E1/T1 lines.
