Description

The Huawei Easy Operation solution, which includes zero-touch deployment, replacement of faulty devices without additional configuration, USB-based deployment, batch configuration, and batches remote upgrade, is supported by the S5720-LI. The Easy Operation solution simplifies device deployment, upgrading, service provisioning, and other management and maintenance tasks, while significantly lowering operational and maintenance expenses. Simple Network Administration Protocol (SNMP) V1, V2, and V3, Command Line Interface (CLI), web-based network management system, or Secure Shell (SSH) V2.0 can all be used to manage and maintain the S5720-LI. It also supports RMON (remote network monitoring), numerous log hosts, port traffic statistics gathering, and network quality analysis, all of which aid in network consolidation and rebuilding. The sFlow function is supported by the S5720-LI. It samples traffic traveling through it using a mechanism defined in the sFlow standard and transmits the sampled traffic to the collector in real-time.

The traffic information gathered is utilized to develop statistical reports that assist businesses in maintaining their networks. An intelligent stack is supported by the S5720-LI (iStack). Multiple switches are combined into a logical switch using this technology. Redundancy backup is used by member switches in a stack to improve device reliability, while inter-device link aggregation is used to improve link reliability. With n-1 master redundancy, distributed Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, link aggregation across the stack, and path failure and hitless master backup failover within 200 milliseconds, the iStack stacking architecture is built for rapid failover capability. High network scalability is provided by mistake. By simply adding member switches to a stack, you can enhance its ports, bandwidth, and processing capacity. The error also makes device configuration and management easier. Multiple physical switches are virtualized into one logical device after a stack is set up. You can manage all the member switches in the stack by logging in to any member switch in the stack. Stacking is possible with the S5720-LI thanks to its electrical ports.
