Description
The Dlink DVX-9000 IP PBX System is an Asterisk IP PBX based on the Intel-G850 processor. The Dlink DVX-9000M supports ElastixTM Asterisk distribution and a variety of telephony port combinations. Up to 32 analog ports or 4E1 ports can be added to the device. Internet IP telephony, also known as VoIP, is the transmission of phone calls over the Internet as standard Internet data packets. Internet phone calls can be initiated from traditional phone receivers via phone line-to-Internet gateways, PCs using software, or fixed devices. The majority of people are interested in Internet telephony because of the cost savings and ease of developing and combining new services. Internet telephony combines a number of services provided by the current Internet infrastructure and the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). The Dlink DVX-9000 IP PBX System includes all of the telephony features required by medium to large businesses. Call forwarding, follow me, call hold, and voicemail are just a few of the features available. Incoming calls are handled by the integrated auto-attendant and hunt groups, which help callers get to their destinations. It can make use of standard phone lines through an external phone line gateway or low-cost Internet telephony services.
