Over the last ten years in our country, there has been very rigorous development within the SME (small and medium-sized enterprises) ecosystem, which has seen immense growth (11.5% annual growth) that has contributed to 45% of the GDP of the country.
Indian businesses today are thriving on technology and are moving forward at an accelerated pace. Mainly, there are two big trends among many others that are making this happen – cloud and smartphones!
What do start?
Cloud Telephony has many benefits but the three main advantages are its affordability, scalability, and reliability. For these reasons, many Indian businesses have begun to adopt this technology, especially start-ups.
A new era for offline SMEs
Standard offline businesses are combinations of skill and wealth, and cloud telephony could be a method to make these flourish in the Indian economy. Cloud telephony is a boon for family businesses and small enterprises that are wanting to expand their customer base globally.
Multi-Language Support
The diversity in our country asks for multi-language support to reach consumers all over India. Cloud telephony (with special features like call flows, and call filtering) admits the transfer of calls to language specialists in call centers within seconds thus the language barrier seizes to be an issue. Customer engagement is high when there is the customized language support
Government agencies/ institutions
Most people in India use government services and schemes. SMEs here are no different as they also need to be updated on different government policies and schemes.
The flip side to this is that government agencies and services generally face a shortage of funds, even though their goal is to reach out to businesses and citizens. Government departments such as the tax department, municipal corporations, water, and electricity supply departments, etc. at much lower costs, improve communication with consumers.
The financial, manufacturing, retail, telecommunications, and government sectors of India can use cloud telephony to foster their growth.
