PRI Card / Gateways
PRI cards/ gateways are both devices used in telecommunications to connect traditional phone systems (such as PBXs) to modern VoIP networks. A PRI (Primary Rate Interface) card is a piece of hardware that is installed in a computer or server and provides an interface for connecting the traditional phone system to a VoIP network whereas PRI Gateways is a standalone device that connects the traditional phone system to a VoIP network. It converts analog signals from the phone system into digital signals that can be transmitted over the internet.
