Responsibilities of Product Lead :
- Being a part of product design, development, and integration testing
- Capture and model requirements preferably using the use case
- Task allocation to the team members describing solutions
- Estimation of hours on the task and sometimes in consultation with developers
- Preparing or guiding developers on crafting unit test cases
- Lead a team of 6-10 developers / Sr. developers
- Code review and coordination with the QA team
- Maintenance of Source code & further versions
- Meticulously work with Sales & Support Team for associated improvements, enhancements & fixes
- Write robust code and carry out unit tests by self partially/on-demand
- Reporting on resource utilizations
- Learn and apply new tools, frameworks, and programming languages to enhance productivity
Requirements of Product Lead :
- University degree in B.E. /B. Tech. /MCA/M.Sc. in Computer science
- Strong knowledge of requirement analysis and software design
- Experience in PHP programming
- Creditable knowledge of MVC architecture
- Expertise in at least one MVC framework, preferably Yii 1/2 framework
- Proficiency in RDBMS and MySQL
- Confident with complex SQL queries, both writing, and understanding
- Good experience with REST API, XML, and JSON
- Well with HTML, HTML5, CSS3
- Knowledge about version release
- Strong knowledge of Ajax, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Efficient communications skills
- Headstrong in leading a team to develop and deliver a quality product within a scheduled timeframe
- Competence to handle time-critical scenarios remaining under pressure
- Ability to handle issue tracking and version management
- Acquaintance with JavaScript frameworks e.g. Angular JS / React JS
